Smiley problem

Hmmmm.....for some reason my smileys all of a sudden aren't working. I see them in color and moving on the right hand side while I am writing this but I can't put them into the post. The box below this that says "disable smileys in text" is not checked. I can see them in other posts. I did notice tho that the smiley above this in the tool bar to change text and whatnot is white and doesn't open when I left click on it. I get options that don't help when I right click. And now I'm noticing that I can't change the color, font, layout, make something bold, etc. either! Help! What happened?
