Looking for a pre-packaged raw? This site looks to have a reasonably good product list, and the prices are excellent: http://www.landywoods.co.uk/

I haven't tried them personally - I make my own raw food, and they don't serve the London area well (in fact they want a minimum order of £60 to deliver to London - which by my reckoning is around 180kg of food, and I don't have near enough freezer space for that!). But if you happen to be in an area they cover, or else know several other people to share an order with, then they look fairly good :)

Thanks for the site, it sounds fabulous. I have spent quite a bit of time today researching what foods are available in England, and have come up with a couple, i.e. James Wellbeloved, Arden Grange, Burns... but this sounds really good.

If one buys a ready made raw diet, does it come all sort of "mooshed up", or are there whole chunks of bones, meat and veg. I have often read about ready raw meals in the USA and can't quite grasp how they are presented. Sounds good though.

You can get it either way :)

The mixes are going to be minced/ground meat and offal, or chunks of meat as described. Some include vegetables, and some are straight offal (eg. the tripe).

The minced chicken and chunks of beef both contain bone, and you can get chicken/turkey wings, rib bones, chicken frames, and turkey necks - all of which are whole parts inclusive of bone.

Then there are marrow bones and pig's trotters, and meaty rib bones - all of which are going to give great chewing and teeth cleaning.

Incidentally - I counted wrong, I think. It would be 90kg required for delivery to London (which is still a significant amount of dog food to buy at once!).

Now I know where the kebabs makers get their meat

You need to be several members from London for sharing the meat and the cost :) It would take a long time for a French bulldog and a boxer to eat 90kg...

Wow, 90 kgs is a bit much, even for a greedy little Frenchie girl like mine! Perhaps if there is enough demand they may expand and it would be possible to buy it in London. I really like the sound of it. :)
