European Frenchies, and AKC Registration

Hi everyone! I'm really enjoying reading this forum. I am searching to buy a Frenchie and I need to learn all I can!

Here's my question. Can the European bred Frenchies, be registered with the AKC?

Hi and welcome! :) I don't have a complete answer for you and maybe someone else here will. I do know that my female (Abby) i s from a European mother and American father. The breeder was able to apply for some sort of paperwork and Abby is now AKC registered. Ferris (our male) is from a male from France bred to a female from Hungary. I don't have his registration yet but I am told that they are forthcoming.

Do you have a prospective breeder you are looking at?

As long as you have original pedigree from their country of birth and that country is recognized by AKC ,thwy will register your dog.yana
