Hates Bones

She licks them for a few seconds and thats it. Tried several bones, bison,beef,turkey necks, and marrow bones and NO go. Anyone know any tricks to get her started? I tried holding it for her, and tried all different sizes still she would rather eat rocks and leafs!!

Try something that's nice and meaty, and give it to her at dinner time - when she's hungry (so no treats between meals LOL). Maybe she's just not a chewer, or maybe she doesn't quite figure what to do with it yet. But presenting her with a meaty bone when she's hungry is a pretty good way of persuading her to give it a try.

Will try that, and ya know now that you mentioned it, she seems to think it is a toy, running around it at high speeds, and barking. Some funny stuff..

I thought Aldo was the only one eating rocks!! I get so nervous, i dont want him to choke. He is really like an outdoor vaccum cleaner!!
