Did you try different foods? Like hypo allergetic (I hope the translation is ok) food? Tirsa is also allergic to food, but with the food she gets now from the vet she is ok.
Drooling can also come from too much peoples food?

[QUOTE=Roosje]Hello Ken,
There are a few French Bulldogs who have allergy, but most do not have this problem. The Creams and Pieds are more prone to skin allergies. I have two FB and both don't have skin allergies.
It is important to let the breeder know about his allergy. If it is a good one he/she will think twice to breed further in this line.
He has never drooled before? Have you asked the vet about the drooling? Maybe the medicine causes the drooling, or he is having some problems with his teeth or some other problem inside his mouth.

HE IS NOT EATING HIS DOG FOOD. MY WIFE AND I TRY TO HAND FEED HIM, NO LUCK. HE WILL HOWEVER EAT HIS DOG BISQUETS. THIS ALL STARTED ABOUT A WEEK AGO. I KNOW HE IS SPOILED SO MAYBE HE IS LOOKING FOR ATTENTION. THE DROOLING GET BAD WHEN YOU TAKE HIM FOR A WALK, HANGS OUT THE SIDES OF HIS MOUTH AND PICK STUFF FROM THE STREET. SO I WALK HIM AND MY WIFE WIPES HIM. HE IS A GOOD LOOKING DOG, HAS A LOT OF BULL IN HIM, IF I KNEW HOW TO POST A PICTURE I WOULD. HIS BROTHER IS TOP DOG IN TENNESEE. YES I HAD HIM TO THE VET BUT YOU CAN'T SEE MUCH, REAL TIGHT IN THERE. THE VET WANT TO PUT HIM OUT TO DO A MORE THOROUGH JOB, BUT I DON'T LIKE THE IDEA OF PUTTING HIM OUT. I LOST ONE BULLDOG THAT WAY

I WAS FEEDING HIM NUTRO LAMB SINCE I GOT HIM 3 YEARS AGO, HE STOPED EATING THAT, WE TRYED BENIFUL HE LIKE THAT FOR ABOUT A MONTH. I WENT BACK TO NUTRO CHICKEN AND RICE, HE LIKED THAT FOR A MONTH. NOW ALL HE WANTS TO EAT IS HIS DOG BISQUETS. WE GIVE HIM REAL CHICKEN ONCE EVERY TWO MONTHS. BUT NO PEOPLE FOOD. HIS PAPERS SAY FAWN BUT HE IS LIGHT CREAM. HE IS A GOOD DOG, BUT TRIES TO IMITATE THE CORGI WHO IS REAL LOUD.

Ken: If he won't eat the dog food, you could try cooking him boiled chicken & mix that with some cooked rice. What type of skin allergy does he have? What are the symptoms? My dad has a Frenchie that resembles yours in color & she gets skin problems where her fur comes out & the skin is pink. My Brindle male has inhalant allergies & some specific allergies such as mold, dust mites, etc. He has in the past had 2 or 3 episodes of excessive drooling like you are describing. However his have only lasted about 12 hours at a time. Is your vet experienced with Frenchies or at least with bulldogs or other short nosed breeds? If not maybe you should consider changing vets. It is not really normal for a Frenchie to drool that much all the time. That combined with the fact that he does not want to eat his food could indicate a problem that might need investigated. Best of luck to him & keep us posted.

Hi - I just joined the site and saw your letter on drooling. I think it sounds like he may have a bad tooth or something. If he is not eating it could be because his teeth hurt. You really should have the vet look in his mouth. Does he have really bad breath?

I was going to suggest the same thing that Sandi said. He may have a tooth issue or he might have something stuck in his throat (like a hair or something small) that is making him drool. Also drooling and not eating is a sign that something could be blocking his digestive system. I would have your vet check all of the above. :)
Also, could you please not type in all caps. In netspeak it means you are yelling. :)
