some questions about french bulldogs

I am looking at buying a french bulldog. I have some questions because I have just become interested in them.

Does anyone know how to find a list of breeders around North Carolina? (I can also look in surrounding states)

How many hours do they sleep?

I saw a picture of a puppy and the eyes looked like they were pointing outwards in different directions (only slightly). Is this normal?

Is this a deformity? or just the way they look?

I'll admit the eyes don't look quite right with these two pups but I don't know if there is, in fact, a problem with them. Here is a link that lists some breeders:

I would suggest that you continue doing your homework and read as much as you can about this breed. As an owner of two beautiful Frenchies, I will say this..they are not the right breed for everyone. I would suggest that you participate in Frenchie chatrooms such as this and start asking specific questions. Frenchie owners love to talk about them! :) My question to you is....why are you considering a Frenchie and what do you already know about them that attracts you?

I'm not quite sure about the eyes of these puppies. Normally you don't see that much white of the eyes. But the is just my opinion.
