How’s it goin’ eh?

Folks …we’re preparing to make the move to RAW.
While Lamont’s appetite is ravenous, he’s extreamly picky. Sometimes he likes the Wellness moist, sometimes he doesn’t, sometimes he wants the kibble mixed in, sometimes he just stares at it, then me, then the kibble, then the roast in the oven, then back at me, then his bowl …. BLAH BLAH BLAH …. Enough!

The success many of you have had with RAW – I simply cannot ignore it so, we’re in the “gathering information” stage.

I’m sure many of you have posted replies to topics similar to this before so I’ll simply ask …

What type of RAW do you feed that is available in Canada?
Any brand you DO NOT recommend and WHY?

This will all help me with my research.
Also, Gwen, I will be reading many of your helpful posts concerning RAW over at boxerworld as well.

Thanks gang!

Hey Lisa,

You guys are in Ontario, right? We feed Jake and Daisy's ('cause it's the cheapest, but still good), but I think it's only available in Western Canada. Amore is a brand that the raw feeders really like out here, and it is sold in Ontario, as is Nature's Variety. Both brands are more expensive than the one we feed. I know that Fran and others on this board feed Bravo which is probably more reasonably priced. We don't have it here, but you might over there.

I recommend starting with chicken, whatever brand you choose. Beef and buffalo can sometimes cause upset with really sensitive tummies...

Stella's on Nature's Variety... she was EXTREMELY picky before we made the switch and now she is total COW.
Works well for us, despite the higher cost.
