View Full Version : Being a Bully

Hi everyone

First I want to say thank you in advance for helping me with my little 5 month old terror :p Oscar. All of the posts and responses on the site have been such a huge help to me, I didn’t even need to post a question; it had already been asked by someone else, I've learned so much!! :)

Of course now I do have a "challenge". Oscar, to put it bluntly, is being a bully! He chases a friends English Bulldog around barking constantly, nipping at her ears and face, mind you she could give him a “body check” if she wanted too but she doesn’t. He also nips at the face of another friends Golden Retriever. When this happens we intervene by pulling Os aside and giving him a time out and a stern "No"...but its not working. The only time he doesn’t do behavior is with what I perceive is another strong willed and much larger dog. I think I am approaching this incorrectly. I don’t want an out of control dog and nor do I want this behavior to spread to other things; I am at a loss. Oscar starts basic obedience class next week but I am hoping you have suggestions before hand? Any help would be hugely appreciated!
