Sorry guys, but hopefully this will be the last kibble related question for a while, as I have run out of brands that I can ask for help with!!

Gmacleod, thanks for your help with the Royal Canin Sensible Choice, but after having contacted numerous pet stores, as well as vets, it would seem it is just not to be had. Sooo, after I realised that the last 2 I asked for info on were not that great, I have ONE last option. I have spent a lot of time browsing and researching, and I came up with one that I would love your opinion on.

Biomill ~ sensitive

Dehydrated lamb meat, rice, potato proteins, fish protein, vegetable and animal fats, fish oil, beet pulp, oligo-sachamides (?), yeasts, DL methionin, minerals, trace elements and vitamins.

Protein is 24%, fats 14%, minerals 7%. Approved EEC antioxidant and no colourants and preservatives.

Thanks. :D

Much better :)

Dehydrated lamb meat is otherwise known as lamb meal. And it's good to see a meat product exclusive of it's water content as the first ingredient in the food.

Beyond that - there is nothing in it that causes major concern. No by-products, no cheap nasty grains/fillers like corn, wheat, and brewers rice. It's a little disappointing to see un-named animal fats in the food, and beet pulp, but at least these are quite a long way down the ingredient list and therefore don't make up ahuge proportion of the food. Overall I think it's reasonable. Better than the other choices anyway :)

Gmcleod, thanks YET again. :D I am pretty chuffed that I carried on looking, as once I start something I am a bit like a dog with a bone ~ wont rest till I get results. Thanks for ALL the fabulous info on this site as well as the Boxer site, it has helped me tremendously.

I love the Boxer site as well, and the pic of your Boxer in your avatar, well, drool, what can I say!! Boxers are right up there next to Frenchies, and I have always promised myself that I would never be without one or the other!!

ROFL! Have to wait until the boxer runs out of steam first, I think. He's not quite three yet, so that may be some time... It's OK though - Olly lets me play with Athlon occassionally (for good behaviour ;)).

LOL - no, I don't have a Frenchie. I'm down to just one boxer now and still three cats... So a Frenchie in about 10 years, perhaps ;) If I visit the US again, I'll let you guys know when I'm coming so you can lend your Frenchies out for the day :D
