My FB is 7 months old and has started to show off. Apart from the chucking him self on the floor and refusing to move for 10 mins! He has started to show off if we go out.

I took him out for a long walk and when we got home my sons wanted to go out to their friends house. As they left he ran to the door but they closed it just as he got there. So her stood there and peed. I shouted at him and he gave me "that" face :o then trotted off in to the other room.

The next day after returning from a walk i took of his lead and he went in to the other room with my husband. I noticed we had no milk so i went back out and was gone 5 mins and when i got back he had peed by the door.

On Sundays we all go to our friends resturant and leave Monty for 2-3 hours and he never does a thing!! Any suggestions or ideas. thanks

At 7 months he's entering his adolescent phase. It's a time when young dogs are quite notorious for "forgetting" everything they have been taught and for pushing boundaries as far as possible (just like human adolescents, in fact). Some apparent regression on toilet training is common - and the solution is to go back to treating him as a much younger puppy with taking him out on a schedule and praising him for doing it correctly outdoors. If he pees inside and you see him, a loud "No no no" accompanied by lots of hand clapping to try to startle him into stopping mid-flow (startle, not scare) and then scoop him up and race him outdoors to finish. LOL - it's possible that you'll end up with pee on you through doing that (scooping him up) but in that case so will he and that's a deterrent in itself.

If he can't be trusted for short periods while you're out, had you thought of crating him during those times? It doesn't usually take very long to get an adolescent back on track with the toilet training, but while you're doing it, a crate can be a very useful tool for those times you can't be keeping an eye on him. And like a baby pup, you're going to need to keep an eagle eye on him ;)

thanks....he is fine if we all go out and does not do a thing. It only happens if one of us needs to pop out quickly for 5 mins, even if some one is there with him or if the boys got out he does it and it's hard to tell him off as we don't always see him . Apart from that he is clean all day and as i said he is fine left for a few hours alone on a Sunday

Other than that he is normally fine if we are all not there. It just seems like he is showing off if one of us dare to pop out, once we return from his walk!
