How much should I anticipate spending (monthly) switching to nature's variety raw? Frankie weighs about 26 pounds.-

When we were on NV, we were spending 70$ CDN for our 22lb dog – 7 small medallions a day. If Frankie is an adult, he should eat 2% of his body weight (in food, not himself) or 5-7% if he is a puppy. So you might spend a tad more than us if he's an adult, or double what we spent if he's a puppy.

If I were you, I would search for a cheaper brand –*they're out there. We've cut our budget down to 50$ CDN a month by switching to Jake & Daisy (Vancouver brand), which isn't organic, but still "human grade" meat, bone & veggies.

ps. you aren't from Seattle are you?

Oops, now I see you aren't from Seattle.
We met a Frankie in Seattle who is famous/infamous.

no, I'm from Sacramento, but let me tell you, this little addition is well on his way to infamy ;) (i took some photos of him on my digital but it says the pics are too big-i don't know how to make them smaller) regarding the food-if i buy something like grandad's which i have heard is cheaper, can i still do the freeze dried of the NV (i don't think grandad's has freeze dried food) for travel and what not. will it be a problem to switch around raw variety brands?
oh yes, frankie's about 26 pounds and i just have him on chicken and rice right now to mellow his tummy, he was having problems on the food switch when i got him.
