Lamont arrived home last Friday and our lives will never be the same.

He’s sweet, affectionate, kissey and cuddly. I would also describe him as (I believe Fran said it best) a little ‘Hellion!”

No stone (or closet, shoe, cord, piece of furniture) has been left unturned (and in some cases, n-chewed!) He is as curious as they come, as fearless as a Gladiator and the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen.

Highlights

 Our breeder must have pre-potty trained Lamont as he will whine to go out and has yet to soil indoors.
 He sleeps a lot. This comes in handy when one wants to do things, like shower, eat, visit the facilities. Yet, Chris and I spend most of our time sitting there just watching him sleep.
appicon He is gorgeous! Deep chocolate brown fur with stripey silver flecks and a white racing stripe down his chest… Very GQ.

Low Lights
evilicon He’s not crazy about his chateau yet. Given the choice, he always picks sleeping with the humans over the chateau – (much to Daddy’s displeasure). Chris spent over 200.00 and about 3 days building and painting his little abode. He’s offended (like most artists) but he’ll survive. If Lamont doesn’t use it, the cats will!
:D I folded like a cheap suit on night one. At the first sound of a whimper, I crept over and unlocked the Chateau. I then snuck him in to bed. 2 seconds later I hear Chris’ muffled voice… “What have you done!”
;) The following night, he beat me to the punch. We are weak…..

His pictures will be approved soon. I hope you all enjoy them as much as we enjoy him.

Thanks to all for sharing my excitement!

I was wondering how it went, Lisa! I checked every day to see if you had any news. Lamont sound like a typical, comical Frenchie. Sure brings back memories! Oh, and the sleeping in the bed thing... we still cave once 'n a while (and Luna is almost two). And what a bed hog at that!!!!

:D Just love hearing about the sheer joy that these pups bring! Frenchies come as a big surprise even if you think you know what you are getting into.
Congrats, Lisa and can't wait to see the pictures. :p

Congratulations! appicon He's a stunning little boy.

Elsi was sleeping in her own bed next to our bed in the beginning. She woke us up about five times per night... until I learnt to sleep with my hand in her bed. I don't have the heart to separate a puppy from his new family to a crate, not to mention to another room! Being separated from their mother and siblings is, IMO, enough trauma for one day!

Now she is, as is my Amstaff, sleeping with us. (The only reason she was ever sleeping in her own bed was to protect her from falling off the bed when she was so small...) And no, I don't like the hair, but I love the company! She doesn't snore and she gives lovely puppy kisses in the mornings. :D

[QUOTE=Lisa]Lamont arrived home last Friday and our lives will never be the same.

You can say that again!

Congratulations on your new pup! What a sweet little face! He's just cute as can be! :)

We've forgotten what it's like to have a bed to ourselves! Just before we brought our second dog home we went out and bought a king size bed. The more, the merrier!
