 Hi everybody! This may take me a while to figure out what I'm doing here.
My name is Beth, most of you know me already. I have three French Bulldogs, Yoshi (6 yrs) Peach (4 yrs) and Kirby (1.5 yrs). I live in West Virginia, USA. I am a member of French Bulldog Rescue Network and also work with all breed rescues, transporting through my area.
I hope I did this right:)

Welcome Beth, it is nice to meet you! I hope there are not many French bulldogs that need to be rescued because with the boxer breed things are terrible and I worry about the Christmas time in two months...
You did it right, myself I am not used yet to this new version of the board :)

Thank you for the welcome Olly. Unfortunately, in just the short time I have been involved in the breed they have become much more "visible". As more people make the choice of a French Bulldog, we will find more of them in situations where they need rescued:( Our first line of defense is in educating people about the breed and encouraging them to do some research BEFORE they choose a breed to add to their family. The "up" side to them becoming more available is that so many of us who would have never had the opportunity to have such beloved pets ..do:D

This is exactly what we do at Boxerworld! At http://www.boxerworld.com/rescue there is a link to the top 6 reasons people give to breed their dogs and we explain why they are not good reasons.
I didn't expect French Bulldogs to be abandoned because they are "rare" compared to boxers and they cost a lot more, don't they?
